Material Receipt Note (MRN)
The Material Receipt Note (MRN) is found under the Logistics module in JobNext ERP. It records the physical receipt of materials at the project site, tracking vendor deliveries, values, and billing status.
The MRN page is located under the Logistics module, not under Procurement. Navigate to Logistics > MRN to access this page.
MRN List View
The MRN page presents all material receipt notes in a tabular list view with the following columns:

| MRN Code | Unique system-generated identifier for the material receipt note |
| Date | Date the material receipt was recorded |
| Vendor | Name of the vendor who delivered the material |
| Job | The job or project the received material is allocated to |
| Currency | Transaction currency for the material receipt |
| Value | Total monetary value of the received material |
| Ref # | External reference number such as a delivery challan or invoice number |
| Vehicle | Vehicle number or identifier used for the delivery |
| Status | Approval status of the MRN: Draft or Approved |
| Billed? | Indicator showing whether the MRN has been billed against a vendor invoice |
Filters and Search
The MRN page provides several filtering options at the top of the list:
- Date Range (From / To) — Filter material receipt notes by their date within a specified range
- Search Box — Free-text search across MRN codes, vendor names, jobs, and reference numbers
- Status Dropdown — Filter by approval status (Draft, Approved, or All)
- "Billed?" Dropdown — Filter by billing status to find MRNs that have or have not been billed
Action Buttons
The following action buttons are available on the MRN page:
- Add + — Create a new material receipt note to record an incoming delivery
- Upload MRN — Bulk import material receipt notes from a spreadsheet template
- Export — Export the current MRN list to a downloadable file for offline review or reporting
A floating "Ask AI" button is available on the MRN page for contextual AI assistance. Use it to get quick answers about material receipts, delivery tracking, or billing status without leaving the page.
