Trading

The Trading sub-module within Operations manages commercial trading activities associated with project jobs. It supports the creation and tracking of sales orders, material sales, and other revenue-generating transactions that occur during project execution.

Key Fields

FieldDescription
Trading Code Auto-generated unique reference number for the trading transaction
Job The job associated with this trading activity
Customer The customer or party involved in the transaction
Transaction Type Type of trading activity (e.g., Material Sale, Service Sale)
Amount Total transaction value in the applicable currency
Date Date of the trading transaction
Status Current status (e.g., Draft, Submitted, Approved, Invoiced)

Creating Trading Records

Click Add Trading to create a new trading record. Select the associated job, specify the customer and transaction type, and enter the line items with quantities and rates. The record follows the standard document approval workflow before it can be invoiced.

Filters

The trading listing can be filtered by job, customer, transaction type, date range, and status to quickly locate specific records.
