Getting Started with JobNext
Welcome to the JobNext Help Center. This guide covers everything you need to use JobNext effectively, from logging in to managing construction projects across multiple sites.
What Is JobNext?
JobNext is an ERP platform built for the construction industry. It gives contractors, builders, and facility managers a unified system for preconstruction, procurement, logistics, operations, finance, HR, and equipment management.
Unlike generic ERP systems, JobNext is designed around how construction companies actually work: job-based cost tracking, bill-of-quantity management, subcontractor coordination, site-level material handling, and running-account billing.
Each organization gets its own isolated tenant with a dedicated URL (e.g., https://jobnext.aspirtek.com/yourcompany/). Your data is completely separate from other tenants, while still benefiting from shared platform updates.
Modules Overview
JobNext organizes its functionality into focused modules, each accessible from the left sidebar. Here is what each module covers:
Preconstruction
Manage the sales pipeline from lead capture through to contract award. Track prospects on a Kanban board, manage customers, handle tenders, and issue bank guarantees.
Operations
Create and manage jobs (projects), assign tasks, track progress, handle work requisitions, and manage trading activities. The jobs list shows all active projects with their status and key details.
Procurement
Handle the full procurement cycle: maintain a material master, manage vendors and rate contracts, issue RFQs and RFPs, create purchase orders and work orders.
Logistics
Track material movement across sites: material receipt notes (MRN), material issues, stock transfers, issue returns, stock adjustments, cash purchases, and requisitions.
Equipment
Manage your machinery fleet: register machines, handle capital procurement (PR, RFQ, PO, MRN), track requisitions, movements, and site allocations.
HR & Payroll
Maintain staff records with photos and documents, track attendance, manage leave, process payroll, handle timesheets, separations, expense reports, training, and recruitment.
Finance & Accounting
Record transactions, manage site expenses, handle bank guarantees, process tax, and run cost allocations. Includes financial masters setup.
Analytics & Reports
Access SSRS-based reports organized by module: CRM analytics, project analytics, SCM analytics, equipment analytics, finance reports, and HR reports.
Self Service
Employee self-service portal where staff can view their personal details, salary slips, leave balances, attendance records, documents, skills, education, medical information, visa details, and dependents.
Ask AI
An AI-powered assistant built into JobNext that can answer questions about your data and help navigate the system.
Administration
System configuration: manage users, set up approval workflows, configure system settings, maintain master data, define roles and permissions, and review alert logs.
