Configurations
The Configurations page provides system-wide settings that control how JobNext ERP behaves across all modules. Administrators use this page to define company information, module preferences, document numbering schemes, email settings, and integration parameters.
Configuration changes take effect immediately and apply globally to all users. Only users with administrator-level access can modify these settings.

| Numbering Schemes | Auto-numbering patterns for documents such as POs, invoices, MRNs, and vouchers (prefixes, suffixes, sequence resets) |
| Email & Notifications | SMTP settings, email templates, and notification preferences for system alerts and approvals |
| Integration | API keys, third-party system connections, and data synchronization settings |
| Security | Password policies, session timeout durations, two-factor authentication settings, and IP restrictions |
Best Practices
- Configure before go-live — Complete all configuration settings before users begin transacting in the system
- Document numbering — Plan numbering schemes carefully as changing them after transactions begin can cause confusion
- Restrict access — Limit configuration access to authorized administrators only
