The Alert Log provides a chronological record of all system notifications, alerts, and event triggers generated across JobNext ERP. It serves as a centralized monitoring console for administrators to track system activity, approval notifications, deadline warnings, and automated process outcomes.

Alerts are generated automatically by the system based on configured rules, such as approval requests, document status changes, overdue items, and threshold breaches. Administrators can review, filter, and acknowledge alerts from this page.

Date & Time Timestamp when the alert was generated
Alert Type Category of the alert: Approval, Warning, Information, or Error
Module The module that triggered the alert (e.g., Procurement, Finance, HR)
Description Detailed message describing the event or condition that triggered the alert
Triggered By User or system process that caused the alert to be generated
Status Alert status: Unread, Read, or Acknowledged

Best Practices

  • Review daily — Check the Alert Log regularly to stay informed of pending approvals and system issues
  • Acknowledge alerts — Mark alerts as acknowledged after taking action to keep the log manageable
