Capital Purchase Requisition
A Capital Purchase Requisition (Capital PR) is the formal request to procure new equipment or machinery. It initiates the capital expenditure approval process by capturing the equipment specifications, estimated cost, justification, and budget allocation before any vendor engagement begins.
Once approved, a Capital PR can be converted into a Capital RFQ to solicit vendor quotes, or directly into a Capital PO for pre-approved suppliers.
