Combined (Combi) Quote
The Combined (Combi) Quote consolidates multiple quotes from different enquiries into a single customer proposal. This is ideal when a prospect has multiple active enquiries for different services and the client wants one unified proposal.
When to use Combi Quote: Choose this method when a prospect has multiple active enquiries for different services and the client wants a single consolidated proposal. Internal pricing remains separate while external presentation is unified.
Combined Quote Process Flow
Prerequisites
Before creating a Combi Quote, ensure the following conditions are met:
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Multiple enquiries | Two or more enquiries must exist under the same prospect |
| Individual quotes | Each enquiry must have at least one quote created (using any quoting method) |
| "In Combi" flag | Each constituent quote must be flagged as "In Combi" |
| Draft status | Constituent quotes must be in Draft status (not submitted or approved) |
| Currency alignment | Matching currency and tax regime is preferred across all constituent quotes |
Two-Phase Process
Phase A: Prepare Constituent Quotes
Create and flag individual quotes for each service type:
- Open an enquiry and navigate to Quotes → Add Quote
- Complete pricing using your preferred method (Easy, Standard, or Estimate-based)
- Toggle "In Combi" to Yes
- Save the quote as Draft (do NOT submit)
- Repeat for each additional enquiry and service type
Important: Do not submit or approve the individual constituent quotes. They must remain in Draft status for inclusion in the Combi Quote.
Phase B: Build the Combi Quote
Assemble the consolidated quote from the prepared constituents:
- Navigate to Preconstruction → Prospects → [Select Prospect] → Quotes
- Select Add → Combi Quote
- Check the draft quotes marked "In Combi" to include them
- Set the quote title, validity period, and shared terms
- Configure the pricing presentation format
- Save, review totals, and submit
- Generate the customer PDF
Key Considerations
Post-submission changes: Changes to constituent quotes do not automatically update a submitted Combi Quote. If underlying quotes change, you must create a new revision of the Combi Quote.
Internal vs External View
- Internal — Each service type maintains its own enquiry, BOQ, and pricing structure for management and tracking
- External — The customer receives a single unified proposal document combining all services
Contract Conversion
When converting a Combi Quote to a contract, convert the main Combi Quote rather than the individual constituent quotes. See Tenders & Contracts for details on the conversion process.
