Combined Bills

A Combined Bill (also called a Combi Bill) creates a single invoice from BOQs across multiple Jobs, each linked to different contracts for the same customer. This is useful when a customer has several active projects and prefers to receive consolidated invoicing.

Prerequisites

Requirement Details
Jobs Linked to Contracts All Jobs to be included must be associated with their respective Contracts
Measurements Created Measurements must exist and be approved for each of the Jobs involved
Same Customer All Jobs must belong to the same customer entity

Process

Step 1: Navigate to CRM Module

Go to CRM > Customer and select the customer for whom you want to generate a combined bill.

Step 2: Create Combined Bill

From the customer record, initiate the Combined Bill creation. The system displays all eligible Jobs with approved measurements for this customer.

Step 3: Select Measurements

Choose the measurements from each Job that you want to include in the combined bill. You can select measurements from as many Jobs as needed.

Step 4: Generate Invoice

The system compiles the selected measurements into a single consolidated invoice. Review the combined bill for accuracy before submitting for certification.

Navigation Path

Combined Bills are created from the CRM module (not from the Billing menu). Navigate to CRM > Customer > [Select Customer] > Combined Bill to access this feature.

When to Use Combined Bills

  • Customer has multiple active Jobs across different Contracts
  • Client prefers consolidated invoicing to simplify their accounts payable process
  • You want to reduce the number of individual invoices sent to a single customer
  • Managing complex customer portfolios with many concurrent projects

Key Considerations

  • Each Job's measurements retain their individual BOQ rates and quantities within the combined bill
  • The combined bill references all source Contracts for traceability
  • Certification of a combined bill posts receivable entries against the customer
  • Tax calculations may vary across Jobs if different tax configurations apply
Tip

Before creating a combined bill, verify that all individual Job measurements have been approved. Unapproved measurements will not appear in the selection list.
